Art, Inkscape, Projects

inkscapeMatt Jordan has just self-published his first in a series of children’s horror novels called Creepspace.  Not only is this a major accomplishment in and of itself, but Matt also created the front and back covers of the book in Inkscape.  Continue to see the images:

This is truly an open source project as Matt also wrote the entire novel in OpenOffice Writer.

This shows one of the benefits of using open source software.  Independent creators can focus their time and money on actually creating the art, instead of worrying about how they are going to get the money for the next useless software upgrade.

Good luck to Matt with the rest of the series, and hopefully OSArtist can work with him in the future.
