OSArtist is an organization and website that provides resources for digital artists who use open source software.  Our goals are to:

• Post relevant news and information on software development.
• Promote the adoption of free and open source software.
• Provide educators with advice and tools to teach using free and open source software.

In the upcoming months, OSArtist will be involved in a number of projects that will continue our focus on the above goals.  We want this to be a community organization also, so we are always open to suggestions and new ideas.  Please comment on our articles or contact us here.

The website is powered by Wordpress.  The theme is a slightly modified version of Big City.

The site is hosted by Lunarpages.

The OSArtist logo is based on the Optika font created by VTC.  The shopping bag icon in the headers was created by 350 Designs.
